we had our crazy woman fooled for so long (2 years!), but she finally figured out that i'm not a bully...and byrdie is! normally, byrdie & i swap princess-in-charge duties every day, but we've decided that she makes a fabulous princess-in-charge when there are baloos and angels about, so i'm going to be junior assistant princess for the next 3 weeks, and she'll keep the princess-in-charge title (my main duty is scouting out the sunny nap spots and keeping the big red chair free from angels and baloos). did you know baloo, who's bigger than byrdie, won't eat from his very own bowl until she's had a few bites first? heehee! bully byrdie rules!

woohoo! we've got a couple of loaner kitties until christmas! angel's still being pretty shy, but we like her a lot. i was sitting with her earlier and we talked about how we deal with our bully siblings. baloo is pretty hissy, and at first anna & i thought he was a meanie, but now we think he's a funny little fraidy cat. they both finally left the spare room for a bit (angel even came out into the living room!), but baloo's back in the closet and angel's under the table and behind the box. i didn't know we were so scary (bwa ha ha!)...
