our auntie laura thinks its time to dump the snowflakes from our blog. hmph. we think she's wrong, and we're hoping it snows again real soon. it did snow a week and a half ago--woohoo!--and we have high hopes for the 27th (not because the weather guys have said anything, but just because we think it should snow on that day). we'll let you know what happens. oh, and maybe we'll think about replacing the snow flakes when it's really summer. ok?

ok, so this is really our crazy woman's story, and we're not really sure she didn't just make it up, but it's kind of funny, so we thought we'd share. the other day, she was driving into work to make enough money to keep us well stocked with fleece fishies, when she realized there was a real live cowboy in the middle of the road! he was wearing a cowboy hat and just sitting on his horse, right there in the middle of the road. at first, she thought maybe he was having trouble getting his horse to cross the road (why did the horse cross the road? oops, never mind, wrong story...), but then she realized, nope, he meant to be right there in the middle of the road. so she slowed down. and then she stopped, because just over the hill, coming straight at her, was a big ol' herd of cows! and then she saw a bunch more cowboys behind the cows! and then she thought maybe she'd accidentally driven through some kind of black hole or time warp or some weird science fiction-y thingy and ended up 150 years in the past. but then she realized everything was ok: one of the cowboys was wearing a baseball cap! so she waited for the cows to go by, and then she went to work and earned enough money for another purple fleece fishy.
